A practical starting point

What you get

For owners, staff, reviewers and technology partners assessing a proposed or existing AI use that affects customers, employees, information or operations.

Use it with your own work

From download
to first decision.

This is a planning workbook. It does not install software or automate a process for you.

  1. Bring the people who own the work

Set aside 45 to 60 minutes with the workflow owner, someone who performs the work, a reviewer and the person who can accept or reject the risk.

  2. Walk through a consequential failure

Discuss who could be affected, which information is involved and how people might rely on the output.

  3. Agree on a response

Record the decision, fallback, incident owner, next action and review date. Keep unresolved questions visible.

Illustrative example from the workbook

A decision in context.

The financial-analytics example separates a draft insight from financial authority. An owner or accountant verifies the figures and retains decisions about payments, filings, financing and other commitments. The discussion considers unsupported claims, reconciliation differences and missed exceptions.

These examples illustrate a method. They are not client results or a promise of performance.

Use it freely. Ask for help when useful.
